Choose a level. County is what this county sets or runs itself. State is what Florida provides everywhere, including here. Federal is always last.

A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

HousingBroward County, FL · County

The Broward County Property Appraiser offers the $5,000 exemption for ratings of 10% to 99% only, sets the combat discount at the combat-related share rather than the whole permanent rating, says both that a surviving spouse can and cannot keep that discount, and limits the deployment exemption to deployments "outside the United States".

The full homestead exemption needs total and permanent disability. The combat discount needs age 65 and a permanent rating with a combat-related part; the deployment exemption needs no rating.

Service-related condition or MST; listed felonies excluded. A veteran or service member with a service-related condition or military sexual trauma, accepted on application to the State Attorney. No rating is needed.
