Where it applies

Applies in states and territories.

A veteran or family member covered by the Post-9/11 GI Bill, the Montgomery GI Bill Active Duty or Selected Reserve, or DEA can be reimbursed for a test needed for a job that requires a license or certification, up to $2,000 a test, including registration and administrative fees. It can be used even while receiving other education payments. VA charges entitlement in proportion to the amount paid. Reimbursement of a prep course for a licensing or certification test is a separate request on VA Form 22-10272. The test must be on VA's approved list, searchable in the GI Bill Comparison Tool. Request reimbursement on VA Form 22-0803 with a copy of the results and a receipt.

Figures

Each figure is dated with the day it was read. A local figure moves whenever the statute or the local ordinance does, so confirm it with the office that grants it before you rely on it. Statute verified gives the day the weekly section check last found the statute standing on the legislature’s own code site; a figure without it rests on a statute the check does not read yet.
