Sprague’s assessor page sends exemption questions to the office and posts the state’s M-59a and active-duty motor vehicle forms without printing an amount; the town’s ordinances page fails to load.
Wartime service or a VA rating, set by state law. The exemptions rest on C.G.S. 12-81(19) to (26): 90 days of wartime service with a qualifying discharge filed with the town clerk, or a VA disability rating. Amounts above the base turn on rating and income. The rating filter does not hide this entry.
Springfield’s latest posted veterans’ form, for fiscal 2025, prints the statute’s amounts: the greater of $400 or $2,000 of valuation under clause 22, $750, $1,250 and $1,500 under 22A to 22C, $1,000 under 22E, and full exemption for a paraplegic veteran.
A VA rating, a decoration, or a surviving relative. Clause 22 reaches a veteran rated 10 percent or more, a Purple Heart recipient, a Gold Star parent and the spouse or unmarried surviving spouse; 22A to 22E turn on named losses, decorations, a 100 percent rating or specially adapted housing. The rating filter does not hide this entry, because several routes need no rating.

Service member disabled in the line of duty, with donated construction. A member of the U.S. military disabled in the line of duty whose home work is donated. The section sets no rating level.
The St. Clair County Assessor's exemption list still says a 70% or higher rating makes a home fully tax exempt and asks for an honorable discharge; since taxable year 2023 the statute exempts the first $250,000 of equalized assessed value and asks instead for VA disability compensation. The Veterans Assistance Commission files the forms for free.
At least 30% service-connected. The standard exemption starts at a 30% rating and steps up at 50% and 70%. The returning veterans, World War II and specially adapted housing exemptions do not turn on a percentage.
St. Clair County publishes the H-series rules on its own site: H3 exempts from all ad valorem taxes an owner retired because of permanent and total disability, proved by VA or Social Security letters, disability income documentation or two physicians, one actively treating.
Permanent and total disability for the complete exemption. H3 applies to owners retired because of permanent and total disability, exempting all ad valorem taxes. Proof is a VA or Social Security award letter, disability income documentation, or two physicians, one actively treating.
St. Francis County's tax collector, Sheriff Bobby May ex officio, at the courthouse, 313 South Izard Street, Forrest City (870-261-1791), takes the State's disabled veteran exemption on the home and personal property; neither the county's nor the Sheriff's page says anything about it, and since Act 876 of 2025 the VA letter is a one-time filing.
100% permanent and total, special monthly compensation, or qualifying survivor. The county collector administers the State exemption under Ark. Code Ann. Section 26-3-306. The disability test is the State test, not a county one.
The St. Johns County Property Appraiser grants Florida's veteran and deployed servicemember exemptions. Its pages limit the $5,000 exemption to a service-connected disability, where section 196.24 also counts a wartime or misfortune disability, and its exemption list and guide leave out the wheelchair exemption in section 196.091.
Homestead owner who is a disabled veteran or deployed. The $5,000 exemption starts at a 10% disability; the full exemption needs a service-connected total and permanent disability; the deployed exemption needs a qualifying deployment and no rating.
St. Lawrence County's veterans property tax exemptions are the State's local-option alternative, Cold War and eligible funds exemptions, filed with the town or city assessor by March 1; the county had not opted into the new full exemption for veterans rated permanently and totally disabled by October 2026, though a legislator raised it in December 2025.
Half the disability rating reduces assessed value further. The alternative and Cold War exemptions add half the service-connected rating, up to local limits; the full exemption, not adopted by the county, needs a permanent and total rating.
The St. Louis City Assessor takes the State's exemption for a former prisoner of war with a total service-connected disability - the only veteran property tax exemption Missouri has - on the assessor's application and sworn affidavit of homestead; it applies to real property only, does not extend to surviving spouses, and does not cover 100% disabled veterans who were never POWs.
Total service-connected disability, as a former POW. The exemption needs a former prisoner of war with a total service-connected disability. The rating filter cannot test the POW element.
The St. Louis County Assessor takes applications for the Missouri Constitution's homestead exemption for a former prisoner of war with a total service-connected disability, on a notarised form with VA and prisoner of war evidence. Its form and FAQ describe the disability as 100 percent, where the Constitution says total.
Total service-connected disability, schedular 100%. One way to show a total service-connected disability is a 100% combined rating.
The St. Lucie County Property Appraiser grants Florida's veteran exemptions. Its page narrows the $5,000 exemption to a service-connected disability, adds a five-year marriage test for the surviving spouse that section 196.24 does not have, and leaves out the wheelchair veteran exemption in section 196.091; its deployed-exemption list predates the 2026 act.

The St. Tammany Parish Assessor names exactly what it takes for the veteran routes: a VA award letter stating 100% service-connected disability for the double homestead, and the award letter plus federal returns with 2026 adjusted gross income at or below $102,700 for the disability freeze, indexed to the CPI from 2026.
100% for the double homestead; 50-99% for the disability freeze. The double homestead needs a VA award letter stating 100% service-connected disability. The disability freeze needs a 50-99% award letter plus federal returns, with AGI at or below $102,700 for 2026, CPI-indexed.

100% permanent and total. Stafford applies the statewide exemptions to the home and up to one acre and to one vehicle. It accepts a 100% rating or an unemployability rating with permanent and total status. It does not add an income test. One path is a VA rating of 100% that is service-connected, permanent, and total.

Stafford’s own local additional veteran application gives $10,000 to a veteran or spouse with income not more than $25,000 above the state limit, and the assessor’s forms carry the D-2 dwelling application and a handicapped equipped-vehicle form; OLR’s 2023 survey also records the 12-81kk primary-residence option.

The exemptions rest on C.G.S. 12-81(19) to (26): 90 days of wartime service with a qualifying discharge filed with the town clerk, or a VA disability rating. Amounts above the base turn on rating and income. The rating filter does not hide this entry.

The Stanislaus County Assessor's page says only that a veteran with "a service-connected disability" may be eligible and gives no amounts. The State exemption needs a 100% rating, unemployability, blindness or the loss of the use of two limbs; for 2026 it is $180,671, or $271,009 under the income limit.

Service-connected total as VA finds it. The disabled veteran exclusion needs the NCDVA-9 certification the VA completes; the elderly or disabled route runs on age or total disability with the $38,800 income test. The county takes the filing.
Stark County's Auditor takes the State's disabled veteran homestead application, DTE 105I. Its page gives the 2025 figures, $29,000 and $58,000, where the 2026 figures are $29,700 and $59,400, and asks a disabled veteran only to call.

When making application a letter from the Muskogee VA is required' - with the exemption filings running January 1 to March 15.
100% schedular rating, permanent. One path is a 100% combined rating that VA has made permanent.
Sterling’s Statutory Exemptions & Deferrals page prints the veterans’ clauses as one "$400 to a full tax exemption" range with no per-clause breakdown and asks a year’s residence before entering service, the older one-year test, so this entry gives the statute’s; its veterans’ services are Leominster’s, Cory Hasselmann the officer, with Sterling hours at the Senior Center.

It adopted the full exemption for permanently and totally disabled veterans in March 2026 and, in July, cut its conditions to the State's single test, a VA letter stating permanent and total disability from service. Apply to your town assessor by March 1.

Sullivan County adds its own payment to the state's property tax relief: on August 20, 2026 the Commission authorized the Trustee to credit up to $400,000 a year to state relief recipients, citing a 36% cut in state relief for 100% disabled veterans and their widows. The Trustee's page describes the veteran relief as for permanently 100% disabled veterans only.
Permanent and total, as VA determines it. The state relief, which the county supplements. The rating route in 67-5-704(b)(3) asks for service-connected permanent and total disability as determined by VA, which a veteran paid at the total rate through unemployability that VA has found permanent also holds. It is recorded rather than enforced because the paraplegia, blindness and loss-of-limbs route and the prisoner of war route need no rating at all.
Summit County's Fiscal Office takes the State's disabled veteran homestead application.
