Choose a level. County is what this county sets or runs itself. State is what Florida provides everywhere, including here. Federal is always last.

Show FiltersHide Filters

A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

Nassau County Property Appraiser: Military and Veterans' Exemptions

HousingNassau County, FL · County

Nassau County's Property Appraiser lists what it needs for each veteran exemption: a VA letter with the percentage and decision date for the $5,000 exemption (10% or more), a VA total and permanent letter plus an honourable character of service for the total exemption, and the DR-501DV with a DD-214 for the 65-plus combat discount; (904) 491-7300.

10% for the $5,000 exemption; total and permanent for the full exemption. The $5,000 exemption starts at a 10% service-connected disability. The full exemption needs a service-connected total and permanent rating. The 65-plus discount equals the combat-related percentage.
