The Denton Central Appraisal District states the 100% homestead exemption as Tax Code 11.131 does, but asks a surviving spouse for a VA letter saying the veteran was rated 100% at death, leaving out the spouse of a veteran paid at 100% for unemployability, and describes the line-of-duty spouse exemption as one for a member "killed in action".
10% for the partial exemption; 100% or unemployable for the homestead. The partial exemption starts at 10%, and some routes need no percentage. The total homestead exemption needs 100% compensation with a 100% or unemployability rating. The surviving spouse exemptions need no rating.
Denver's Assessor takes the State's disabled veteran exemption, half of the first $200,000 of the home's value, at a 100% permanent rating or individual unemployability, on the 2025 forms. The veteran deadline was July 1 in 2026, two weeks before the senior exemption's July 15; Senate Bill 26-046 aligns them, so 2027 veteran applications are due July 15, 2027.
100% permanent rating. One path is a 100% service-connected rating VA has made permanent.
Derby’s assessor page prints no veterans’ exemptions and the city’s veterans services page points to a service officer; OLR’s 2023 survey records Derby answering no to every municipal option.
Wartime service or a VA rating, set by state law. The exemptions rest on C.G.S. 12-81(19) to (26): 90 days of wartime service with a qualifying discharge filed with the town clerk, or a VA disability rating. Amounts above the base turn on rating and income. The rating filter does not hide this entry.
The Desha County Collector, Lisa Hutchison, at 604 President Street, Arkansas City ((870) 222-2525 on her office's site), takes the State's disabled veteran exemption on the home and personal property; the office's site says nothing about it, and since Act 876 of 2025 the VA letter is a one-time filing.
100% permanent and total, special monthly compensation, or qualifying survivor. The county collector administers the State exemption under Ark. Code Ann. Section 26-3-306. The disability test is the State test, not a county one.
The Dickson County Trustee, Glynda Pendergrass (4 Court Square, Charlotte, 615-789-7006, or 303 Henslee Drive, Dickson), takes applications for the State's property tax relief for disabled veterans and their widow(er)s, and the County Commission adopted a county supplement to that relief in October 2025, as it did in 2024; the amount is in the resolution, which is not posted.
Permanent and total, as VA determines it. The State relief the Dickson County Trustee takes applications for, with the county supplement on top. The rating route in 67-5-704(b)(3) asks for service-connected permanent and total disability as determined by VA, which a veteran paid at the total rate through unemployability that VA has found permanent also holds. It is recorded rather than enforced because the paraplegia, blindness and loss-of-limbs route and the prisoner of war route need no rating at all.
Dighton’s own FY2027 Programs of Tax Relief sheet prints the statutes doubled and raised by the fiscal 2027 adjustment of 2.7 per cent - $822 under clause 22, $1,540 under 22A, $2,567 under 22B, $3,081 under 22C and $2,054 under 22E, full under 22D - what clauses 22I and 22J at 100 per cent produce with a fiscal-2027 first application, no acceptance named, so its entry asks the assessors; its Veteran’s Services Agent is the town’s own Raymond Hague, where the EOVS directory’s row keeps Town Hall’s address and phone.
A VA rating, a decoration, or a surviving relative. Clause 22 reaches a veteran rated 10 percent or more, a Purple Heart recipient, a Gold Star parent and the spouse or unmarried surviving spouse; 22A to 22E turn on named losses, decorations, a 100 percent rating or specially adapted housing. The rating filter does not hide this entry, because several routes need no rating.
Dinwiddie’s Commissioner of the Revenue takes the statewide home exemption on a sworn affidavit, extending it to the dwelling and up to five acres, and asks the veteran to reapply only if the primary residence changes.
100% permanent and total. Dinwiddie applies the statewide exemption to the dwelling and up to five acres. It accepts a disability compensated at the 100% rate. It does not add an income test. One path is a VA rating of 100% that is service-connected, permanent, and total.
Dinwiddie exempts 100 percent of the real estate taxes of a qualifying owner age 65 or disabled with income to $50,000 and net worth to $150,000 over five acres, and relieves one vehicle’s personal property tax and license fee for an applicant with income to $30,000 and net worth to $75,000; the codified income figure is still a bracketed placeholder.
Age 65 or permanently and totally disabled. At least one spouse must be 65 or older or permanently and totally disabled. A VA rating alone is not the test.
Takes $445,000 off the assessed value of a District house or condominium you live in if VA has rated you permanently and totally disabled or pays you at the 100 percent rate for unemployability, and your household income is under the limit, $163,500 for tax year 2026. Cooperatives are excluded, and it replaces the ordinary homestead deduction, senior relief and the assessment cap.
Rated 100 percent and permanent and total. D.C. Code 47-850(a-2)(1)(A): "classified ... as having a total and permanent disability as a result of a service-incurred condition or service-aggravated condition".
Dougherty County's Board of Assessors takes homestead exemption applications before April 1 for the tax year, and its 2025 Homestead Exemptions workbook lists the disabled-veteran rows - the floating Disabled Veteran exemption, Age 65 100% Disabled Veteran, Age 65 Surviving Spouse Veteran and 100% Disabled Veteran/Unremarried Surviving Spouse, each $121,812 off assessed value for 2025, and a full exemption for an unremarried spouse of a firefighter or police officer killed in the line of duty - with the note that "Veteran Exemption amounts are updated yearly by the GA DOR".
100% service-connected. The State entry carries the statute’s disabled-veteran test; the county takes the application.
Dougherty County's Board of Commissioners approved Resolution 25-071 (November 24, 2025) transferring 18.57 acres of the former Georgia National Guard Armory property at 1500 N. Monroe Street to the Albany-Dougherty Payroll Development Authority so it can be donated to the state for the Georgia Department of Veterans Services' veterans assisted living facility - a $100,000,000 project, the first newly constructed veterans facility in the state - and asked the legislative delegation for $17.3 million toward Albany Technical College's Veterans Transition Center (VECTOR).
Dougherty County veterans and their families. The facility serves veterans needing assisted living; the land transfer is a county action, not an eligibility rule.
The Douglas County Assessor takes the State's disabled veteran exemption, half of the first $200,000 of the home's value, at a 100% permanent rating or individual unemployability. Its page gives a July 15 deadline, but for 2026 the statute and the Assessor's own forms said July 1; July 15 applies from 2027. The Treasurer's page still names only the permanent and total rating.
100% permanent rating. One path is a 100% service-connected rating VA has made permanent.
The Douglas County Assessor in Minden (775-782-9830) takes the State's veteran exemption ($3,640 of assessed value for 2026-27), disabled veteran exemption ($18,200, $27,300 or $36,400 at 60%, 80% or 100%) and surviving spouse exemption ($1,820), against real property by June 15 or personal property or vehicle tax any time, and issues a permanent card for the vehicle use; its page labels the disabled amounts as 2025-26 figures, but they are the 2026-27 amounts.
60% permanent for the disabled veteran exemption. The disabled veteran exemption starts at a permanent service-connected disability of 60%, counting separate ratings added together. The general veteran exemption needs qualifying service and no rating.
Douglas County's homestead page takes a disabled veteran's application with a VA statement of service-connected disability benefits paid at 100% as of January 1, through the Tax Commissioner's office by April 1, online or in person, with additional county exemptions for disabled veterans and their surviving spouses.
100% service-connected or paid at the 100% rate. One path is a 100% rating or compensation at the 100% rate, which the county asks for; statutory limb and sight awards are other paths the filter does not test.
The Doña Ana County Assessor takes the State's veteran and disabled veteran exemptions on the Department of Veterans Services' DVS Form 1, hosted with a 2026 disabled veteran certification form and a claim for property tax exemption, and lists the 2023 House Bill 90 full exemption for a 100% disabled veteran among the statute changes it tracks.
Disabled veteran exemption, proportional to the rating. From tax year 2026, under 7-37-5.1, the share of the home's taxable value exempt equals the service-connected rating, after the $10,000 veteran exemption; all of it at 100%.
Dracut’s fiscal 2027 allowances sheet gives $400 under clause 22, the statute’s amount, “plus, depending on disability”, and no figures for 22A to 22E.
The Drew County Collector, Tonya Loveless, at the courthouse, 210 S. Main St., Monticello ((870) 460-6200), takes the State's disabled veteran exemption on the home and personal property; her page says nothing about it, and since Act 876 of 2025 the VA letter is a one-time filing.
100% permanent and total, special monthly compensation, or qualifying survivor. The county collector administers the State exemption under Ark. Code Ann. Section 26-3-306. The disability test is the State test, not a county one.
The DuPage County Supervisor of Assessments' page on the standard exemption for veterans with disabilities is current, but it mails every recipient a renewal without saying that 100% permanent and total and World War II veterans need not reapply. Its returning veterans page gives the $5,000 for the year of return only, when the statute also gives the year after.
At least 30% service-connected. The standard exemption starts at a 30% rating and steps up at 50% and 70%. The returning veterans, World War II and specially adapted housing exemptions do not turn on a percentage.
Dudley’s assessors post the Commonwealth’s Form 96-4 with no amount of the town’s own, so this entry gives the statute’s; its Veterans Office is the town’s own, districted with Webster since July 1, 2023 under District Director Stephen P. Rogerson, whose emergency line the page gives beside the directory’s row.
How Durham County runs the State's $45,000 disabled veteran homestead exclusion: form AV-9 by June 1, with Land Records' help on 919-560-0300. Its page states the discharge test and every surviving spouse route as the statute does, but links last year's AV-9 and says VA completes part of the form when the certification is the State's.
Permanent and total service-connected disability. The rating path is VA's certification of a permanent and total service-connected disability, as of January 1. A section 2101 adapted housing grant qualifies instead, and an unremarried surviving spouse qualifies on any of the veteran's routes or a service-connected death; the rating filter cannot test those.
Durham’s assessor page names the state programs - the DD-214 filing, the disability rating letter, the 12-81g additional exemption and the D-2 annual filing - without printing an amount.
Against County taxes, Dutchess grants the alternative veterans exemption at $54,000, $90,000 and $180,000 (its April 3, 2026 table) and the Cold War exemption at 15% up to $54,000 plus up to $180,000 for a rating, from the 2025 roll; towns and school districts set their own levels, many far lower. The Legislature asked in April 2026 for a fiscal review before considering the full exemption for permanently and totally disabled veterans.
A rating adds an exemption equal to half its percentage. No rating is needed for the wartime or combat parts. A service-connected rating adds assessed value times half the rating, up to $180,000 for County taxes under either exemption; towns and school districts cap it lower.
How the Duval County Property Appraiser and the city's veterans department describe Florida's veteran property tax relief, and where they are narrower than the statutes: both describe the combat-related discount as for partially disabled veterans, where section 196.082 says partially or totally; the veterans department adds a condition of Florida residence on entering service that section 196.082 does not contain; and the Appraiser's summary puts the $5,000 exemption at more than 10% where the statute says 10% or more.
10% for the $5,000 exemption; permanent and total for the full one. The $5,000 exemption starts at 10%. The full homestead exemption needs total and permanent disability. The combat discount needs age 65, an honorable discharge and a permanent combat-related rating at any percentage.
Duxbury’s www.duxbury-ma.gov domain serves a for-sale lander and town.duxbury.ma.us answers a Cloudflare challenge, so its assessing and veterans’ pages were read through the Internet Archive’s 2023 captures, the newest the Archive holds; they print no clause amounts, so this entry gives the statute’s.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Assessor, Brian Wilson, takes the veteran exemption claims at 222 Saint Louis Street; the assessor’s own site answers 403, so its published rules could not be read.
50-69%, 70-99% and 100% tiers. The parish administers the State tiers: $2,500 of additional assessed value at 50-69%, $4,500 at 70-99%, and the remaining value at 100% or total unemployability. Proof is the current LDVA Form A25.
East Bridgewater’s Exemptions for Veterans page posts the Commonwealth’s generic Clause 22 brochure at the statute’s own amounts with no amount of the town’s, so this entry gives the statute’s.
East Granby’s assessor page describes the wartime, disability-rating and active service exemptions without amounts; the town’s code is on eCode360 behind its Cloudflare challenge.
East Greenwich’s veterans’ property tax exemptions under R.I. Gen. Laws 44-3-4, with the statutory figures for East Greenwich and the day each was read. Confirm the current amount with the assessor.
Service and discharge set by state law. A veteran of a war, conflict or Cold War service period named in 44-3-4 or 44-3-4.2, honorably discharged, discharged under conditions other than dishonorable, or still serving honorably; or the unmarried widow or widower. No disability rating is needed for the basic exemption, so the rating filter never hides this entry.
East Haddam’s relief page prints the additional veteran’s exemption at income of $46,300 single and $56,500 married for the October 2026 grand list, and an in-service motor vehicle exemption; OLR’s survey recorded the specially equipped vehicle option.
Wartime service or a VA rating, set by state law. The exemptions rest on C.G.S. 12-81(19) to (26): 90 days of wartime service with a qualifying discharge filed with the town clerk, or a VA disability rating. East Hampton’s assessor details the wartime exemption on a DD-214 filed by September 30, the income-driven additional exemption filed February 1 to October 1, active duty motor vehicle exemptions, and the Public Act 24-46 dwelling exemption; a local-option application is posted as a scan with no readable amount.

The exemptions rest on C.G.S. 12-81(19) to (26): 90 days of wartime service with a qualifying discharge filed with the town clerk, or a VA disability rating. Amounts above the base turn on rating and income. The rating filter does not hide this entry.

East Longmeadow’s personal exemptions page prints $800 under clause 22 up to a full tax exemption, the statute doubled at the bottom, what clause 22J at 100 per cent produces.
East Lyme’s page gives the state additional exemption under the OPM income limits, a local option additional exemption of $5,000 for income $2,000 above the state limits adopted by the Board of Selectmen on February 1, 2006, and the dwelling exemption for a permanent and total rating.

East Providence’s veterans’ property tax exemptions under R.I. Gen. Laws 44-3-4. East Providence publishes $28,600 off real estate assessment, $373.80 off the residential bill for its basic veterans’ exemption; the statutory figures and every amount here carry the day they were read.

The exemptions rest on C.G.S. 12-81(19) to (26): 90 days of wartime service with a qualifying discharge filed with the town clerk, or a VA disability rating. Amounts above the base turn on rating and income. The rating filter does not hide this entry.
Eastham’s Exemption/Assistance Programs page prints the statute’s own range and posts the Commonwealth’s Form 96-4, so this entry gives the statute’s; its Veteran Assistance page lists the Cape Cod District’s Hyannis office, the officer the EOVS directory names on the Eastham row.

Easton’s pamphlet prints $4,000 off assessment for wartime service and $8,000 to $14,000 by disability rating, an additional exemption of half the entitlement doubled for income-qualified veterans, and the D-2 annual filing for a permanent and total rating.
Easton’s fiscal 2027 veterans’ requirements letter gives eligibility only and no amounts, so this entry gives the statute’s: $400 under clause 22, $1,000 under 22E and full exemptions under 22D and 22F.
The Eddy County Assessor (Rhonda Hatch) takes the veteran property tax exemption - its own flyer records HB 47's increase from $4,000 to $10,000 for tax year 2025, applied on the tax bill though the notice of value still shows $4,000, and the percentage-of-disability route appearing for tax year 2026 - with the rendering period January 1 to the last day of February, and its deadline reminder read into the Commission's February 24, 2026 minutes.
Veteran or surviving spouse owning the residence. The exemption follows the State statutes and the DVS certificate; the filter reads the rating for the proportional route.
Effingham County's Tax Assessor files the State's disabled veteran (S5) and surviving spouse (SS) homestead exemptions, $126,526 for 2026; its own table still prints $101,754, the 2022 federal maximum. Applications are filed online or on the county's blank form and go before the Board of Assessors, and a double exemption can be fined at twice the savings per year for up to three years.
100% service-connected. One S5 path is a VA rating of 100% that is totally disabling. Statutory awards for loss of limbs or sight, and adapted housing eligibility, are other paths the filter does not test.
The El Paso Central Appraisal District describes the 100% homestead exemption as Tax Code 11.131 does, unemployability included, but tells veterans rated 10% to 90% that the property must already carry a homestead exemption. Section 11.22 has no such rule: the partial exemption goes on any one Texas property the veteran owns and names on the form.
10% for the partial exemption; 100% or unemployable for the homestead. The partial exemption starts at 10%, and some routes need no percentage. The total homestead exemption needs 100% compensation with a 100% or unemployability rating.
The El Paso County Assessor takes the State's disabled veteran exemption, 50% of the first $200,000 of the home's actual value, at a 100% permanent rating or individual unemployability. The deadline was July 1 in 2026 and is July 15 from 2027 under Senate Bill 26-046. Its page omits the late filing route (August 1 in 2026, August 15 from 2027), and the county veterans office's FAQ still describes the exemption as 100% permanent and total only.
100% permanent rating. One path is a 100% service-connected rating VA has made permanent.
One-time emergency help with housing and utility bills for El Paso County veterans, service members, dependents and surviving spouses facing a documented hardship, paid from a Texas Veterans Commission grant. An other-than-honorable discharge qualifies.
Documented hardship; honorable, general or other-than-honorable discharge. Serving members, veterans with an honorable, general or other-than-honorable discharge, dependents and surviving spouses with a documented emergency. No rating is needed, and help is once only.
The Elko County Assessor administers the State's veteran, disabled veteran and surviving spouse exemptions from the courthouse at 571 Idaho Street, and its Exemption Programs page spells out the 90-day service test, the DD-214 and the VA percentage documentation, adding the Merchant Marine in time of war or national emergency. No amounts are printed, so the 2026-27 figures rest on the Nevada entries.
60% permanent for the disabled veteran exemption. The disabled veteran exemption starts at a permanent service-connected disability of 60%, counting separate ratings added together. The general veteran exemption needs qualifying service and no rating.
Ellington’s assessor page lists active military servicemen and veterans among the programs the office administers and prints no amounts; OLR’s 2023 survey records a $5,000 local wartime additional exemption at the state income limit plus the equipped-vehicle option.
The Elmore County Assessor, 2280 American Legion Boulevard, Mountain Home (208-587-2130 ext. 6507), takes applications from January 1 to April 15 for the State's property tax benefit of up to $1,500 on the home of a veteran rated 100% service-connected, and for the income-tested circuit breaker, which counts a veteran rated 10% or more.
100% for the veterans benefit; 10% for the circuit breaker. The veterans benefit needs a 100% service-connected rating (the statute also takes unemployability); the circuit breaker counts a 10% rating or a VA pension, with an income limit.
