Hudson County

Start typing a street address. VetTOC reads only the county or town from it and opens its page.

Choose a level. County is what this county sets or runs itself. State is what New Jersey provides everywhere, including here. Federal is always last.

Show FiltersHide Filters

A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

Since January 9, 2026 New Jersey has a separate cabinet-level Department of Veterans Affairs, split from the old Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs. New Jersey Limits on Paid Help With VA Claims

New Jersey makes it a consumer fraud violation to charge for help with a VA claim except as federal law allows, to charge anything before a notice of disagreement is filed, to charge a referral fee, or to guarantee a rating. Paid advisers must tell you in writing and aloud that free help exists.
