Start typing a street address. VetTOC reads only the county or town from it and opens its page.

Choose a level. County is what this county sets or runs itself. State is what Pennsylvania provides everywhere, including here. Federal is always last.

A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

Montgomery County: Applying for the State's Disabled Veterans Real Estate Tax Exemption

HousingMontgomery County, PA · County

Montgomery County's Office of Veteran Services takes every application for Pennsylvania's full real estate tax exemption; the Board of Assessment Appeals only records the State's decision. The county's pages ask for a 100% permanent and total letter, leave out blindness, paraplegia and the loss of two limbs, and wrongly say an applicant over the income figure is not eligible.

100% permanent, on one path. One path is a VA rating of 100% made permanent. The rating filter does not hide this entry, because the statute also opens on blindness, paraplegia or the loss of two limbs at any rating.
