Choose a level. County is what this county sets or runs itself. State is what Missouri provides everywhere, including here. Federal is always last.

Show FiltersHide Filters

A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

MiscellaneousStone County, MO · County, Barry County, MO · County, Lawrence County, MO · County

Stone, Barry and Lawrence counties make up the 39th Judicial Circuit, which the Office of State Courts Administrator's veterans treatment court map shades as running a Veterans Treatment Court Program, and the VA's southwest Missouri Veterans Justice Outreach page (updated July 2026) lists Lawrence and Stone among the counties with a veterans treatment court; the circuit publishes no rules or contact of its own, so ask a defence lawyer, the Circuit Clerk, or the VA's justice outreach staff.

Justice-involved veteran. For a veteran or service member with a pending case in the circuit who is screened and accepted. A disability rating is not the test.

Commission staff may not accept or charge anything of value for helping a veteran, and doing so is a class A misdemeanour. The wider service officer network runs on matching grants from casino money rather than on a statutory officer in every county.
