Clay County

Street address

Start typing a street address. VetTOC reads only the county or town from it and opens its page.

Choose a level. County is what this county sets or runs itself. State is what Missouri provides everywhere, including here. Federal is always last.

Show FiltersHide Filters

A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

Clay County Veterans Treatment Court (Seventh Judicial Circuit)

MiscellaneousClay County, MO · County

The Seventh Judicial Circuit's Clay County Veterans Court takes a veteran with a Clay County charge who will engage in treatment through the Kansas City VA, judged on criminal history, the pending charge and substance use; ask the Prosecutor's Office, 816-736-8300, or the KC VA treatment provider, 816-590-3997.

Justice-involved veteran. The court is for a veteran with a pending Clay County charge who will take VA treatment and is accepted. A disability rating is not the test.

Free help with a VA claim

A county veterans service officer, a town veterans’ agent or a state service office helps you file VA claims for free, most of them through staff VA has accredited. VA does not let anyone charge you for help filing an initial claim.

VetTOC has not written a veterans service office for Clay County yet. The state’s service offices below serve it.

    Missouri Veterans Service Officers

Commission staff may not accept or charge anything of value for helping a veteran, and doing so is a class A misdemeanour. The wider service officer network runs on matching grants from casino money rather than on a statutory officer in every county.
