Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

This is the county's own concession. Clay County Parks' fee page lists each season pass with a "Military/Veteran **" line, the footnote reading "**Valid Military/Veteran ID Required": - Season Vehicle $55.00; Military/Veteran $45.00. - Season Boat $95.00; Military/Veteran $75.00. - Season Boat & Vehicle $150.00; Military/Veteran $120.00. - Senior (age 62 within the current year) Season Vehicle $45.00, Boat $75.00, Boat & Vehicle $120.00; Military/Veteran $40.00, $70.00 and $110.00. The veteran rate equals the Clay County personal property taxpayer rate, which ends July 31; the veteran rate has no such cut-off. From August 1 every pass is half price. Daily entry is $7.00 a vehicle and $16.00 a boat, with no veteran rate. What is coming. The County Commission's packets of October 16, 2025 and October 8, 2026 carry the parks fee schedule proposed to 2031, which keeps the same footnote - "Honorably discharged veterans, discount available with Veteran Identification Card and proof of residency" - and raises the passes a few dollars a year from 2027, so check the fee page for the year's figures.
