Show FiltersHide Filters

A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

Box 417, Gray, GA 31032 (478-986-6538, fax 478-986-4206, weekdays 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., jonescountytaxes.com, [email protected]) - and the Board of Tax Assessors take the homestead applications, the disabled-veteran exemptions included; the commissioner's own site publishes the due dates and no exemption text, so the O.C.G.A. 48-5-48 and 48-5-52.1 amounts ride on the State entries.

Qualifying disabled veteran or surviving spouse who owns and occupies the home. The exemption follows O.C.G.A. 48-5-48 and 48-5-52.1; the county offices take the application and post no amounts of their own. The rating filter never hides this entry.
