Show FiltersHide Filters

A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

Chippewa County’s CVSO office in the courthouse runs a small, documented 45.86 relief fund - a $2,000 annual expense budget on a $20,000 non-lapsing balance, mostly gas and food cards, with over-$500 requests going to the chair within 24 hours.
