Choose a level. County is what this county sets or runs itself. State is what Pennsylvania provides everywhere, including here. Federal is always last.

A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

Pennsylvania County Directors of Veterans Affairs

Every Pennsylvania county must appoint a director of veterans affairs, who has to hold VA accreditation and who files VA claims, pays the county burial allowance and takes applications for the State programmes. Since 2026, a funeral director must tell the county director within 96 hours when a veteran from the county dies.
