Show FiltersHide Filters

A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

    Ohio County Veterans Service Commissions

Every Ohio county must have a veterans service commission, funded by a county levy of up to half a mill, that gives temporary financial help to a veteran discharged under honorable conditions, a service member or their family after three months in the county, files VA claims free, arranges rides to VA medical centers and buries an indigent veteran.
