Start typing a street address. VetTOC reads only the county or town from it and opens its page.

Choose a level. County is what this county sets or runs itself. State is what North Carolina provides everywhere, including here. Federal is always last.

Show FiltersHide Filters

A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

Stanly County Tax Administration: the Disabled Veteran Exclusion and the Elderly or Disabled Exclusion

HousingStanly County, NC · County

The Stanly County Tax Administration takes the State's property tax relief routes: the disabled veteran exclusion of the first $45,000 of value on the permanent residence (G.S. 105-277.1C), applied for January 2 to June 1 with a form NCDVA-9 the local Veterans Services Officer assists with, and the elderly or disabled exclusion with its $38,800 income limit for 2026 applications.

Service-connected total as VA finds it. The disabled veteran exclusion needs the NCDVA-9 certification the VA completes; the elderly or disabled route runs on age or total disability with the $38,800 income test. The county takes the filing.
