Show FiltersHide Filters

A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

Worth County Board of Commissioners (the chairman’s seat vacant on the county’s own page): the Tifton Circuit’s drug-court office inside the courthouse, the DD-214 recording, and the unreadable 2025-2026 minutes

MiscellaneousWorth County, GA · County

The Worth County Board of Commissioners - whose own Board Members page lists the chairman's seat as "Vacant" with District 1 Joe Gaines, District 2 Ken Hall, District 3 Dice Roberts and District 4 Kemp Willis, and County Clerk Angela Harrah at 201 N. Main Street, Suite 30, Sylvester (229-776-8200) - meets in workshop the first Tuesday and in regular session the third Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the third-floor Board Room of the Worth County Courthouse; the courthouse's second floor seats the Tifton Circuit Accountability Courts' own Worth County office (Room 24, 229-326-3060, fax 229-386-7977) for the Worth County Adult Felony Drug Court, and the county's 2025-2026 agenda and minutes PDFs answer a Cloudflare-style block to plain fetch, so the board's year was not available to read; American Legion Post 335 sits in Sylvester and no VFW post is listed in the county.

No eligibility - a board record. The record documents the board’s seats and schedule, the courthouse’s drug-court office and the county’s organizations; it grants no individual entitlement.

This exemption applies to all ad valorem tax levies ... proof of disability, either from the Veterans Administration or from a private physician", with "A similar exemption in the same amount ... available to the un-remarried surviving spouse of a member of the armed forces of the United States who was killed in any war or armed conflict", and the armed-forces-absence filing line: "If the owner is absent from their residence because of duty in the armed forces, a friend or family member may file on behalf of said owner"; the qPublic record-search site was not read (the gap goes to docs/COUNTY-REVISIT.md).
