Catoosa County

Street address

Start typing a street address. VetTOC reads only the county or town from it and opens its page.

Choose a level. County is what this county sets or runs itself. State is what Georgia provides everywhere, including here. Federal is always last.

A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

MiscellaneousCatoosa County, GA · County

The Catoosa County Clerk of Superior & State Courts (Tracy Hullender Brown, 875 Lafayette Street, Catoosa County Courthouse, Ringgold, 706-935-4231) records military discharge papers free under O.C.G.A. 15-6-78 and keeps them behind the 15-6-72 classes - the clerk's own site names deeds, liens, plats, UCCs and jury affidavits but no discharge line, so the State rule carries.

Catoosa County Tax Commissioner: the Disabled Veteran Homestead Exemption

HousingCatoosa County, GA · County

The Catoosa County Tax Commissioner takes the State's disabled veteran homestead exemption for a veteran rated 100% service-connected - its own page asks for a letter from Veteran Affairs verifying the disability, carries the unremarried surviving spouse and minor children, and gives $117,014 as the current amount where the 2026 State figure is $126,526 - at 816 Forrest Avenue, Ringgold, or through catoosataxes.com; the Board of Assessors decides eligibility.

100% service-connected. Section 48-5-48(a)(1) takes a 100 percent totally disabling rating. Statutory awards for loss of limbs or sight, and adapted housing eligibility, are other paths the filter does not test.
