Choose a level. County is what this county sets or runs itself. State is what North Carolina provides everywhere, including here. Federal is always last.

Show FiltersHide Filters

A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

Davidson County Tax: Disabled Veteran Exclusion

HousingDavidson County, NC · County

Davidson County's tax page restates the State's $45,000 disabled veteran exclusion for an honorably discharged veteran with a 100% permanent total service-connected disability or a specially adapted housing grant, or the unmarried surviving spouse, on the AV-9 with the NCDVA-9.

Permanent and total service-connected disability. The rating path is a 100% permanent and total service-connected disability; a section 2101 adapted housing grant qualifies instead.
