Choose a level. County is what this county sets or runs itself. State is what Louisiana provides everywhere, including here. Federal is always last.

A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

Iberia Parish Assessor: Disabled Veteran Exemption and Special Assessment Level

HousingIberia Parish, LA · County

The Iberia Parish Assessor’s FAQ lists exactly what each veteran route takes: the Disabled Veterans Freeze at a 50%-or-more rating with combined adjusted gross income of $100,000 or less, and the Disabled Veterans Additional Homestead at a 100% rating or for a surviving spouse, each with its document list.

50%+ for the freeze; 100% for the additional homestead. The Disabled Veterans Freeze needs a 50%-or-higher service-connected rating with combined AGI of $100,000 or less. The Disabled Veterans Additional Homestead needs a 100% rating or qualifying surviving-spouse status.
