The Laramie County Assessor administers Wyoming's veteran property tax exemption: $6,000 of assessed value off property tax (about $424.00 depending on mill levy) or off county vehicle fees (about $90.00, up to $180.00 across vehicles). Each veteran must appear in person at the Assessor's office, applying after January 1 and before the fourth Monday in May.
Compensable service-connected disability certified by VA or a branch. One qualifying path is a disabled veteran with a compensable service-connected disability certified by the VA or a branch of the armed forces, eligible regardless of time of service; the other paths run on qualifying war-era or AFEM service. Recorded so the rating filter never hides the entry.
The Larimer County Assessor takes the State's disabled veteran exemption on forms that must be mailed or dropped off, with 2026 applications due July 1, 2026 and 2027 applications due July 15, 2027 under Senate Bill 26-046, at a 100% permanent rating or individual unemployability, owned and occupied before January 1. It posts surviving spouse and Gold Star spouse forms beside it.
100% permanent rating. One path is a 100% service-connected rating VA has made permanent.
The Lauderdale County Tax Assessor's office assists homeowners in filing homestead exemption applications, due on or before April 1 (Mississippi Code 27-33-31); the disabled-veteran exemption amounts are the State's, under Mississippi Code 27-33-67 and 27-33-75.
Service-connected total as VA finds it. The State entries set the exemption routes; the county takes the filing.
Lauderdale County assigns the granting of exemptions to its Assessment department under Revenue Commissioner Billy Hammock, who invites owners to have their account reviewed for every exemption they may be entitled to.
Permanently and totally disabled, or 65 with income within the limits. Lauderdale County administers the State exemption; the Assessment department grants it. The disability test is the State test.
The Laurens County Auditor, James A. Coleman, 100 Hillcrest Square, Laurens (864-984-2535), determines homestead exemption eligibility for county residents - the State's $50,000 exemption for a resident 65 or older, legally blind or classified totally and permanently disabled - and takes inquiries through the county's form; the disabled veteran exemption itself is certified by the county's veterans affairs officer on the Department of Revenue's form.
Age 65, legally blind, or classified totally and permanently disabled. The homestead exemption needs no VA rating; the disabled veteran exemption on PT-401-I needs a permanent and total service-connected disability, which the State entry describes.
The Lawrence County Collector, Stephanie Harris, at the courthouse, 315 West Main, Walnut Ridge (870-886-1114), takes the State's disabled veteran exemption on the home and personal property; the county posts nothing about it, and since Act 876 of 2025 the VA letter is a one-time filing.
100% permanent and total, special monthly compensation, or qualifying survivor. The county collector administers the State exemption under Ark. Code Ann. Section 26-3-306. The disability test is the State test, not a county one.

The Lawrence County Auditor, Martha Arnold-Turner, at 916 15th Street, Room 28, Bedford (812-275-3111), takes the State's exemption filings in person: 'Taxpayers must come into the Auditor's Office to file Homestead Exemptions, Mortgage Exemptions and Veterans' Exemptions for their property taxes.'
10% or more for the credits. The $350 and $250 credits start at a 10% disability. The 100% deduction needs a total disability, which a VA pension certificate can also show, so the rating is recorded, not enforced.
Lawrence’s statutory exemptions sheet prints the statute’s amounts: $400 under clauses 22a, 22c, 22d and 22f, $750 under 22A, $1,250 under 22B, $1,500 under 22C, and $1,000 under 22E, plus the sheet’s full exemption under 22e for Gold Star parents, where the statute’s clause 22(e) gives $400.
A VA rating, a decoration, or a surviving relative. Clause 22 reaches a veteran rated 10 percent or more, a Purple Heart recipient, a Gold Star parent and the spouse or unmarried surviving spouse; 22A to 22E turn on named losses, decorations, a 100 percent rating or specially adapted housing. The rating filter does not hide this entry, because several routes need no rating.
The LeFlore County Assessor (Sadie Doucette, 100 S. Broadway, Suite A, Poteau, 918-647-3652 ext. 2250) publishes the county's exemption dates and rules on its Important Dates page: the Disabled Veteran Exemption "exempts full fair cash value of the homestead for 100% service connected permanently disabled Veterans," with the "Veteran's award letter required," applied for in the January 2 to March 15 assessment period.
100% permanently disabled from service connection, as VA certifies. The full fair cash value of the homestead is exempted on the VA award letter; the Assessor takes the filing. The rating filter never hides this entry.
The Lea County Assessor in Lovington (575-396-8626) applies the State's $10,000 veteran exemption and the disabled veteran exemption on the Department of Veterans' Services certificate, but the application it posts is the July 2021 form, which still says $4,000 and asks for a 100% permanent and total rating; since 2026 the exemption is proportional to any permanent service-connected rating.
Disabled veteran exemption, in proportion to the rating. A permanent service-connected rating; the share of the home's taxable value exempt equals the rating, after the $10,000 exemption. The county's posted form still asks for 100% permanent and total.
Ledyard’s Ordinance No. 200-003 gives a veteran entitled under 12-81(19), or a surviving spouse under 12-81(22), $10,000 of assessed value on a principal residence for income within the state limits, or $5,000 for income up to 1.25 times them.
Wartime service or a VA rating, set by state law. The exemptions rest on C.G.S. 12-81(19) to (26): 90 days of wartime service with a qualifying discharge filed with the town clerk, or a VA disability rating. Amounts above the base turn on rating and income. The rating filter does not hide this entry.
Lee County's tax collector, Sheriff Corey Wilson ex officio, at the courthouse, 15 E. Chestnut St., Marianna ((870) 295-7752), takes the State's disabled veteran exemption on the home and personal property; the county's page says nothing about it, and since Act 876 of 2025 the VA letter is a one-time filing.
100% permanent and total, special monthly compensation, or qualifying survivor. The county collector administers the State exemption under Ark. Code Ann. Section 26-3-306. The disability test is the State test, not a county one.
The Lee County Property Appraiser explains the combat discount correctly, as the whole permanent rating once any part is combat related. Its deployment exemption list is from before 2022, still naming Operation Observant Compass, which the Legislature removed, and missing seven operations added since; and it adds a Florida-residence-at-death test for a surviving spouse's $5,000 exemption.
10% for the $5,000 exemption; permanent and total for the full one. The $5,000 exemption starts at 10%. The full homestead exemption needs total and permanent disability. The combat discount needs age 65 and a permanent rating with a combat-related part; the deployment exemption needs no rating.
Lee County Revenue Commission publishes its H3 rules in full, and one line matters more than the rest: after the first assessment, the annual recertification is not required where the exemption is based on qualification through Veterans Affairs.
VA total-and-permanent determination qualifies without income limit. A VA award or benefit verification letter stating the individual is totally and permanently disabled qualifies the owner for H3. An annual recertification form is required for other proofs but not for a VA-based exemption.
Lee County's Tax Administration takes the State's disabled veteran exclusion - the first $45,000 of the home's value, no income test - for "a 100% permanent totally disabled Veteran (or unmarried surviving spouse)" on the combined property tax relief application; Veterans Services helps with the paperwork, which needs a VA letter showing the effective date of the permanent and total rating (919-718-4661).
Service-connected, permanent and total disability. The NCDVA-9 records a total and permanent service-connected disability; the county page says "100% permanent totally disabled." No income test applies to the veteran.
Leicester’s assessors post no exemption amounts, so this entry gives the statute’s: $400 for a veteran rated 10 percent or more, $750 to $1,500 under 22A to 22C, $1,000 for a 100 percent rating, and full exemption under 22D and 22F.

Service-connected, permanent and total disability, or specially adapted housing. G.S. 105-277.1C: a 100% permanent and total service-connected disability or a specially adapted housing grant under 38 U.S.C. 2101; an unremarried surviving spouse qualifies too. No income test applies to the veteran.

10% for the $5,000 exemption; total and permanent for the full exemption. The $5,000 exemption starts at a 10% service-connected disability. The full exemption needs a service-connected total and permanent disability and an honorable discharge. The 65-plus discount equals the combat-related percentage.
