Licking County: Disabled Veteran Homestead Exemption

The Licking County Auditor takes the State's disabled veteran homestead application, DTE 105I, due December 31, but the Auditor's own site could not be read, because it answers a Cloudflare browser check to both curl and headless Chrome.

Also called: homestead, property tax, DTE 105I, county auditor, Michael Smith, 323.152.

For: Veteran or service member, survivor.

Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The exemption is the State's, under Revised Code 323.152(A)(2); see the Ohio entry. File DTE 105I, with the DD-214 and the VA award letter, with the Licking County Auditor, Michael L. Smith, 20 South Second Street, Newark, by December 31, or ask the Veterans Service Commission (740-670-5430) to help. There is no income test. Where this entry is thin. The Auditor's site, ontrac.lickingcounty.gov, sits behind a Cloudflare browser check that neither curl nor headless Chrome passed, so this entry cannot say whether the county's own page matches the current figures ($29,700 and $59,400 of value for tax year 2026 real property) or carries an earlier year's, as several other counties' pages do. File from the State's form and figures and ask the Auditor's office to confirm.
