Cascade County

Street address

Start typing a street address. VetTOC reads only the county or town from it and opens its page.

Choose a level. County is what this county sets or runs itself. State is what Montana provides everywhere, including here. Federal is always last.

A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

Cascade County Veteran Services and the MVAD Great Falls Office

MiscellaneousCascade County, MT · County

Cascade County employs no veterans service office; state claims help runs through the Montana Veteran Services Program office in Great Falls, (406) 452-2265, [email protected].

State claims help is free to any veteran. The Montana Veteran Services Program assists veterans, spouses and dependents with federal claims at no charge, so the rating filter never hides this benefit.

Cascade County Veterans Treatment Court (8th Judicial District)

MiscellaneousCascade County, MT · County

An outpatient court-managed program of at least 16 months for veterans charged with crimes whose treatment issues contributed to their criminal justice involvement: five milestones, drug testing throughout, DD-214-verified military service, residence in Cascade County or a commitment to move there, and a guilty plea (except through pretrial diversion).

Veterans charged with crimes, DD-214 verified. Eligibility runs on military service verified by a DD-214 plus a diagnosable treatment need; there is no rating requirement, so the rating filter never hides this benefit.

Free help with a VA claim

A county veterans service officer, a town veterans’ agent or a state service office helps you file VA claims for free, most of them through staff VA has accredited. VA does not let anyone charge you for help filing an initial claim.
