Choose a level. County is what this county sets or runs itself. State is what Texas provides everywhere, including here. Federal is always last.

Show FiltersHide Filters

A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

    Texas Veterans County Service Offices

Every Texas county of 200,000 or more must keep a separate veterans county service office with at least one full-time employee. Its officers must help any county resident who served, and their dependents and orphans, with federal and state benefit claims, and may not charge or let anyone charge a fee.
