Choose a level. County is what this county sets or runs itself. State is what Tennessee provides everywhere, including here. Federal is always last.

Show FiltersHide Filters

A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

Williamson County Trustee: Disabled Veteran Tax Relief

HousingWilliamson County, TN · County

Williamson County's Trustee, 1320 West Main Street, Suite 203, Franklin, administers the State's tax relief for disabled veterans and their widows or widowers by appointment (615-790-5709); for 2026 taxes, apply after the bill arrives and by April 5, 2027, with the taxes paid in full first.

Permanent and total, as VA determines it. The state relief, as the Williamson County Trustee administers it. The rating route in 67-5-704(b)(3) asks for service-connected permanent and total disability as determined by VA, which a veteran paid at the total rate through unemployability that VA has found permanent also holds. It is recorded rather than enforced because the paraplegia, blindness and loss-of-limbs route and the prisoner of war route need no rating at all.
