A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

Wilson County Trustee: Disabled Veteran Tax Relief

HousingWilson County, TN · County

Wilson County's Trustee, 228 E. Main Street, Room 102, Lebanon (615-444-0894), takes applications for the state's tax relief, which its page describes as for 'total & permanent disabled veterans'; section 67-5-704 also covers paraplegia, blindness or the loss of two limbs at any rating.

Permanent and total, as VA determines it. The state relief, as the Wilson County Trustee administers it. The rating route in 67-5-704(b)(3) asks for service-connected permanent and total disability as determined by VA, which a veteran paid at the total rate through unemployability that VA has found permanent also holds. It is recorded rather than enforced because the paraplegia, blindness and loss-of-limbs route and the prisoner of war route need no rating at all.
