Show FiltersHide Filters

A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

Napa County Assessor: Disabled Veteran Exemption

HousingNapa County, CA · County

Napa County's Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk administers the disabled veteran exemption - the base exemption ($149,993 in the page's 2022 figures) or the low-income exemption ($224,991, household income below $67,355 in the same figures) for a veteran 100 percent disabled from service-connected injuries or illness or rated unemployable, or an unmarried widow or widower - with a one-time claim that continues while eligible.

100 percent service-connected or unemployable for the exemption. The exemption needs a 100 percent service-connected rating or VA unemployability; the low-income level needs the household income test.
