Show FiltersHide Filters

A filter hides a benefit only when that benefit has a rating gate and the rating you set misses it. A benefit with no rating gate stays on the list. No disability needed keeps only the benefits a living veteran can use without any service-connected disability rating: one that needs a rating or a disability, or may, stays off, and so does one only a surviving spouse or other family member can use. Who it is for means who can receive the benefit in their own right; a survivor is the family of a veteran or service member who died, and a child of one is listed under both. This is not an eligibility decision.

New York County and City Veterans' Service Agencies

Every New York county outside New York City must run a county veterans' service agency, led by a director who must be a veteran and VA-accredited, to help veterans and families with federal, State and local benefits at no cost. A city may run its own, and New York City does.
