Two different deals. A resident veteran rated 100 percent permanent and total buys a permanent combination license once for ten dollars. A resident 30 percent or more disabled by reason of service in any war pays nothing at all.
One hundred percent permanent and total buys the permanent license for $10. A resident veteran who is one hundred percent permanently and totally service-connected disabled may obtain a permanent sport combination hunting and fishing license on payment of a one-time ten dollar fee.

Tennessee taxes no income of any kind. The Hall tax on interest and dividends, the last thing that came close, was repealed for tax years beginning January 1, 2021, so there is no military retirement subtraction because there is no return.

The Texas County Recorder of Deeds, Lindsay Koch, 210 North Grand Avenue, Suite 209, Houston (417-967-8438), keeps the DD-214s veterans have filed since 1918 out of public view and posts the Recorders Association of Missouri's request regulations and form; "There is no fee for the request and/or copies."

Section 504.202 requires a service-connected disability of at least 50 percent, or at least 40 percent because of the amputation of a lower extremity, plus compensation from the United States for that disability. The 40% amputation path is narrower than a rating percentage can express, so the 50% figure is recorded but does not hide the plates from a veteran rated 40% for an amputation.

Every Texas county clerk must record a veteran's discharge free. A Texas toll road operator, the State, a regional authority or a county, need not offer a discount, but one that runs a discount programme must give free or discounted tolls to an electronic toll account for a vehicle with Disabled Veteran, Purple Heart or Legion of Valor plates.
