Bay County: No Local Business Tax to Exempt
The Bay County Code carries no local business tax article - the license and taxation chapter reserves the articles where one would sit - and the Tax Collector publishes no local business tax service, so a veteran opening a business in unincorporated Bay County owes the county no local business tax and needs no exemption. A municipality inside the county that levies one applies section 205.055.
Also called: business tax receipt, local business tax, occupational license, Tax Collector, 205.055, chapter 14, reserved, BTR.
For: Veteran or service member, spouse, survivor.
