Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

Section 42-53 of the Washington County Code (Ordinances 2007-3 and 2007-8) sets the camping permit fees for the county's parks: one day for a Washington County family of up to four, $10; for other Florida residents, $15; for out-of-state families, $25; seven days $50, $75 and $100; and $5 for each member over four. The waiver. "No fee shall be charged for persons who are over 65 years of age, or who are 100 percent disabled, who camp with their spouse and/or dependent children (under 18 years of age)." "A permit will be required for every camping party even when no fee is charged. A picture ID is required to obtain a permit." The waiver is for any 100 percent disability, not only a veteran's, and neither the Code nor the Parks and Recreation page says what proof it takes; a veteran rated 100% should bring the VA rating letter and ask. Where. Permits from the Board of County Commissioners' office, 1331 South Blvd., Chipley; Parks and Recreation (850) 638-6280, Monday to Thursday 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Administration (850) 638-6200.
