Oklahoma Disabled Veteran License Plate and $5 Registration
A veteran rated 50 percent or more, or who received a VA automobile grant or lost the use of a limb or an eye, can register up to two vehicles with the disabled veteran plate for $5 a year in place of the ordinary registration fee. An unremarried surviving spouse, or a spouse receiving DIC, can keep one. Guides saying four vehicles describe a bill that died.

Would have raised the limit in 47 O.S. § 1135.2(B)(31). It passed the House 92 to 0 on February 26, 2025, had its enacting clause stricken in the Senate Aeronautics and Transportation Committee on April 7, 2025 and was referred to Appropriations, where it stayed through the end of the Legislature in May 2026. At least one national guide says disabled veterans can tag up to four vehicles. The statute and Service Oklahoma both still say two.
