Dublin Judicial Circuit Veterans’ Court (District Attorney Harold McLendon): the circuit’s named accountability court

The Dublin Judicial Circuit's District Attorney - Harold McLendon, whose office serves the circuit's Johnson, Laurens, Treutlen and Twiggs counties from Dublin - lists a Veterans' Court among the circuit's accountability courts on the DA's own site: "he will dedicate resources to the pursuit of alternative resolutions through active engagement of the Accountability Courts (Drug Court, Mental Health Court, and Veterans' Court) and operation of the DA's Office P.I.E.R.S. Program, a pretrial diversion option for qualified offenders"; the Council of Accountability Court Judges' directory certifies the Dublin Circuit Drug Court (Judge William Taylor III, coordinator Mark Bowers, begun July 2022) and the Dublin Circuit Mental Health Court (begun January 2016) and lists no veterans treatment court for the circuit, so the Veterans' Court is the DA's named programme and not a certified docket.

The line. The Dublin Judicial Circuit District Attorney's own site (dublinda.org), on its district-attorney page: "Before he entered the practice of law in 1984, he supervised probationers and parolees. ... For low-risk crimes and offenders, he will dedicate resources to the pursuit of alternative resolutions through active engagement of the Accountability Courts (Drug Court, Mental Health Court, and Veterans' Court) and operation of the DA's Office P.I.E.R.S. Program, a pretrial diversion option for qualified offenders. These efforts will preserve the employability of individuals charged with a felony by keeping their criminal history clear of a felony conviction and by connecting each person with opportunities for vocational growth in pursuit of a lawful means of self-sufficiency." The same page: "The Office of the District Attorney serves more than 70,000 people in the Dublin Judicial Circuit." The site itself. dublinda.org answers 404 to every reader on 2026-11-03 - the domain's Wix hosting shows a ConnectYourDomain error - and the text above was read through the Internet Archive's captures of May 19, 2026 and July 13, 2026, the latest available; the same sentence stands in both. The certified dockets. The Council of Accountability Court Judges' directory (all six pages, read 2026-11-03) gives the Dublin Circuit two rows: "Dublin Circuit Drug Court - Program Judge(s): Judge William Taylor III. Program Coordinator: Mark Bowers. Counties Served: Johnson, Laurens, Truetlen, and Twiggs. Program Implemented: July 2022" and "Dublin Circuit Mental Health Court - Program Judge(s): Judge William Taylor, III. Program Coordinator: Mark Bowers. Counties Served: Johnson, Laurens, Truetlen and Twiggs. Program Implemented: January 2016". The directory lists no veterans treatment court for the Dublin Circuit, so a Laurens veteran's entry into the Veterans' Court runs through the DA's office and the Superior Court rather than a certified docket; the DA's office is at 101 North Jefferson Street, Dublin (the warriorsfund.org listing's address for the circuit's courts).
