Jefferson County Board of Commissioners: the Veterans Service Office rename and the county programme it kept

The commissioners sit at Jefferson Place, 155 Main Street, 2nd Floor, Brookville (the courthouse itself is at 200 Main Street), and post their meeting agendas as posts on the county site - "Board of Commissioners Conference Agenda, October 27th, 2026", "Commissioners Meeting Agenda, October 27th, 2026", "Commissioners Meeting Agenda, October 13th, 2026" and so on, each linking its PDF under wp-content/uploads - with the commissioners' meetings streamed and archived on the county's YouTube channel. The meetings page's own Minutes section reads "Nothing Found - Sorry, no posts matched your criteria", and the only minutes archive on the page is a commented-out 2016 list, so the window's minutes are not posted; the agenda posts are the record. The veteran items in them: the August 2025 rename (the entry above) and the county programme's own lines - the burial and headstone allowances, the cemetery care allowance, the Memorial Day flags and emblem markers, and the DAV transportation programme - which the commissioners fund and the renamed office administers. No veteran benefit was adopted, narrowed or repealed; the rename is the county's own labelling, and the programme lines are the County Code's burial machinery and the office's transportation programme already on the books.
