The page lists health, CHAMPVA, burial, compensation, vocational rehabilitation, home loan, education, records, the Nebraska Veterans Homes and both aid funds, and shows the Veterans' Memorial in Trenton, dedicated on November 11, 2012. Its County Benefits page lists county veterans aid (see that entry), a bronze grave flag holder (inventoried each year and replaced when damaged), registration of DD-214s, homestead help (the office obtains the VA's letter of eligible veterans and widows for the Assessor each year), grave registration with a Presidential Memorial Certificate for every deceased county veteran, and benefits counselling. The County Clerk records a DD-214 brought in (see the Nebraska entry on the Discharge Record). The Board's year. The Board published the Veterans Service Officer's salary as $25,995.84 a year in August 2025 (August 18, 2025) and his wage as $21.79 an hour in August 2026 (August 3, 2026), approved the Nebraska Department of Veterans' Affairs' memorandum of understanding on November 17, 2025, and acknowledged the officer's yearly inventory (August 4, 2025 and August 3, 2026). Its claims pay his meals and mileage and the office's association dues. The money. The office (0100-803) spent $29,777.08 in 2024-2025 and $30,071.03 in 2025-2026, and the 2026-2027 budget adopts $34,500.88, the officer's $27,200.88 salary and a new $1,000.00 line for grave markers and flags among it.
