Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

Georgia's accountability courts, including veterans treatment courts, rest on Code section 15-1-17; see the Georgia entry. Clayton County's board records show the programme's funding: the April 15, 2025 meeting carried "Resolution 2025-67... authorizing Clayton County to apply for and accept grant funds from the Council of Accountability Court Judges for Veterans Treatment Court Program Fiscal Year 2026", and the April 21, 2026 meeting carried "RES 2026-76... Clayton County Veterans Treatment Court FY27 CACJ... to continue the certified Clayton County Veterans Treatment Court program for qualified veterans who enter or who are already involved in our criminal justice system." What is not published. The county and the council publish no eligibility page that could be read - the council's site renders empty and cacga.org is another organisation - so a Clayton veteran asks the Clayton County District Court or the programme's coordinator through the courthouse. The county's board agendas carry a recurring "Veteran of the Month" presentation by Senior Services and the board's Veterans Advisory Board, which is recognition, not eligibility.
