York County Free Veterans Transportation to VA Care and Jobs

The medical shuttle. In partnership with the York County Department of Veterans Affairs, rabbittransit runs a weekday shuttle from the York VA Clinic to the Lebanon VA Medical Center, leaving York at 6:30 and 9:30 a.m. and Lebanon at 12:30 and 2 p.m., at no cost to veterans of York and Adams counties. A veteran without a ride to the York clinic can be picked up at home and connected to the shuttle. Reserve by 1:30 p.m. the day before (Friday for a Monday trip) at 1-800-632-9063, option 3. Zarfoss Drive, York PA 17404. rabbittransit also asks veterans to apply for its Shared Ride service, which can take them to local medical, pharmacy and grocery trips. Jobs. The veterans employment programme gives an 11-ride pass on the fixed-route buses of York, Adams, Cumberland and Dauphin counties for job interviews, then a monthly pass for four months once a job is secured, paid in full the first month and stepping down after (100%, then 75%, and so on).
