Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The City and Borough of Wrangell's Schedule of Fees and Rates, last updated by Resolution 04-26-2033 and effective July 1, 2026, lists a veterans' rate under Parks and Recreation Facilities/Participation. Pool, weight room and showers, per visit: veterans $3.00, the same as seniors 65 and older and youths 13 to 17; adults 18 and older pay $5.00. Pool passes: "Young Adult, Senior & Veterans" pay $27.00 for one month, $119.00 for six months and $195.00 for a year, against the adult rates of $45.00, $198.00 and $324.00. Punch passes of 10 and 20 visits carry 10 and 20 percent discounts on the visit rate. The schedule does not say what proof of veteran status the front desk asks for; bring a DD-214, a VA card or a state ID marked veteran. Disabled patrons, as a separate line, use the pool, weight room and showers free.
