Woodstock Veterans’ Property Tax Exemptions

Woodstock’s assessor posts the biennial additional veterans exemption application and its information sheet, the D-2 for the permanently and totally disabled, and active duty motor vehicle forms; no page prints an amount.

Also called: property tax, 12-81g, veterans exemption, assessor, Woodstock.

For: Veteran or service member.

Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The assessor’s department page counts exemption programs for veterans who served during wartime and for disabled veterans among the office’s duties, without printing amounts. The office’s veterans page carries the Biennial Application for Additional Veterans Exemption, its Veterans Additional Exemption Application Information sheet, Form D-2 Permanently and Totally Disabled Veteran and the Dates of War list. Both the biennial additional veterans application and its information sheet are scans whose text does not extract, so neither prints an amount or income limit that can be quoted; ask the office. The D-2 is the standard form, application due annually not later than January 1 under 12-93. The assessor’s forms page carries an Active Duty CT Resident application and an Active Duty Veteran Form for the motor vehicle exemption. OLR’s 2023 survey recorded Woodstock as offering no municipal option. The town sat behind a Cloudflare challenge in the sixth round (dubiousenvelope/vettoc issue 194) and answered plain curl again on the day of this round.

Figures

Each figure is dated with the day it was read. A local figure moves whenever the statute or the local ordinance does, so confirm it with the office that grants it before you rely on it. Statute verified gives the day the weekly section check last found the statute standing on the legislature’s own code site; a figure without it rests on a statute the check does not read yet.
