Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The assessor’s page gives the veterans’ exemption application a deadline of October 1, 2026, and prints income limits “the same as for the homeowners, except for the 100% VA determined, disabled. Those limits are: $21,000 for married and $18,000 for singles and is the adjusted gross income only.” The homeowners’ limits the page prints are $56,500 married and $46,300 single, the state’s amounts for the 2026 grand list. The page adds that “the town also offers an additional homeowners’ program and veterans’ program. The guidelines and income levels for the town veterans’ program are the same as for the state program,” without an amount. OLR’s 2023 survey recorded Woodbury as offering the additional exemption of 12-81f for wartime service and 30-year retirees at $10,000 with OPM’s income limits, and the specially equipped vehicle of 12-81h, which 33 of the 35 towns reporting it exempt at 100 percent of value. Woodbury’s ordinances are on eCode360 (WO3765), which stayed behind its Cloudflare challenge (dubiousenvelope/vettoc issue 168).

Figures

Each figure is dated with the day it was read. A local figure moves whenever the statute or the local ordinance does, so confirm it with the office that grants it before you rely on it. Statute verified gives the day the weekly section check last found the statute standing on the legislature’s own code site; a figure without it rests on a statute the check does not read yet.
