Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The county's own fee schedule. The Clerk's Recording & Fees page links "Official Records Recording Fees (PDF)", effective January 1, 2024, under County Clerk Blanca Tuma (940-627-3351). Its military lines: "MILITARY DISCHARGE-DD214. Application available on County Clerk website. Filing - Local Government Code 192.002 (b) - No Charge. Certified Copy - Texas Government Code 603.003 (a) - No Charge. Thank you for your service!" The State entries carry the confidentiality rule (Government Code 552.140) and the rest. Deployment waivers on the same schedule. For the marriage licence: "Military Personnel Being Deployed to a Hostile Fire Zone by Order are exempt from these fees", printed under both the standard licence ($72 total) and the premarital-education version ($27 total), each followed by "72 hour waiting period ... WAIVED" for the deployed. That is the county's own working of the State's deployment fee waivers.
