Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

Minnesota's veterans courts run under section 609.1056, subdivision 5; see the Minnesota entry. The Judicial Branch's list of operational treatment courts names among its eight veterans treatment courts the "Third Judicial District: Dodge-Fillmore-Freeborn-Houston-Mower-Olmsted-Rice-Steele-Wabasha-Waseca-Winona Counties (2019)". The Olmsted County entry describes the programme. Winona's own court. The list also carries "Winona County (2012)" among the drug/DWI hybrid courts; the county's Treatment Court page describes that court, established in 2012, for "offenders to become alcohol and drug free", with coordinator Carin Hyter (507-457-6434). A veteran charged in Winona County asks the court, a defence lawyer or the County VSO about a referral to the veterans court.
