Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

Windsor County publishes no website of its own that this sweep could find, and its State's Attorney's staff list on the Department's site names no veteran role. The county's veteran-relevant record is historical: the Veterans Treatment Docket, described in a policies and procedures manual filed with the Legislature's Military Affairs working group in January 2018, was "a pilot veterans treatment program in Windsor County, Vermont", combining substance abuse intervention, enhanced probation supervision, treatment of service-connected disabilities and access to veterans services. The Judiciary's current treatment and specialty docket list, read on 2026-10-11, publishes no veterans docket anywhere in the state, so this entry records the pilot's terms as history rather than as a live route; the county court is the place to ask. The claims route the State publishes is the Office of Veterans Affairs' certified service officers, who serve every county from Montpelier by appointment at 802-828-1082; the Office is at 118 State Street, Montpelier, (802) 828-3379, toll free in Vermont (888) 666-9844. The Office also verifies eligibility for the disabled veteran property tax exemption, applied for through the Office and not through any local office. No veterans treatment docket is published for the county today: the Judiciary's current list carries no veterans track, Windsor's included.
