For 2027 to 2029 the Department of Revenue sets Whatcom's thresholds at $54,000, $63,000 and $72,000, with $80,653 for the deferral programme, and chapter 163, Laws of 2026 takes Combat-Related Special Compensation out of the income counted. A veteran rated 40% to 70% should apply for 2027 when the Assessor takes those claims.
