Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The exemptions are Georgia's: O.C.G.A. 48-5-48 for the qualifying disabled veteran and 48-5-52.1 for the unremarried surviving spouse of a service member killed in a war or armed conflict - the State entries carry the statutes, the qualification list and the yearly indexed amount. What Wayne's offices add is the route, the county's own deadline and the board's own record of approving the exemptions. Where and who. Tax Commissioner Ally O'Quinn Harnage, 341 E. The Board of Tax Assessors' own minutes - Chairman Bill Parker, Monica O'Quinn, John Shaver, Sr., Paul McDuffie, Chief Appraiser Kimberly Wilson, Secretary Kendra Hand - carry the exemptions being granted: the July 30, 2026 minutes, "a motion was made by Paul McDuffie and seconded by John Shaver, Sr. to approve the July 2026 Veteran Exemptions as listed below. All agreed and the motion passed unanimously.
