Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The county's own route. The county's Tax Commissioner page seats the office: "J. Neil Pittman, Tax Commissioner, [email protected]" with "Kodi Wimberly, Deputy Tax Commissioner", at "115 Jones St., Sandersville, GA 31082, P.O. Box 469, Office Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 4:45 PM", and prints the exemption route: "Property tax exemptions - All exemptions the State allows plus Local $10,000 exemption for residents 65 years and over, provided they meet the qualifying criteria and their Application for Homestead are handled in the Tax Assessor's Office." No Disabled Veterans row is printed, so the county's own veteran amounts are the State's: the Disabled Veterans Homestead Exemption of O.C.G.A. 48-5-48 at its yearly indexed amount and the surviving-spouse exemption of 48-5-52.1 (the State entries carry both). The office's own record. The page's "Upcoming Holiday Closings" prints the veteran day: "Veterans Day - Wednesday, November 11, 2026." The Tax Assessor's page seats the assessors at P.O. Box 308, Sandersville (478-552-2937, [email protected]), where the applications are handled. The office's Government Window pay site (washingtoncountyga.governmentwindow.com) answers a Cloudflare-style block (403) and was not read, and the Tax Assessors' qPublic site (qpublic.net/ga/washington) answers the same block (the gaps go to docs/COUNTY-REVISIT.md).
