Warren County Auditor: Disabled Veteran Homestead Exemption

Warren County's Auditor takes the State's disabled veteran homestead application by mail, but its homestead page describes only the senior and disability programme and its $41,000 income test, which do not apply to a disabled veteran.

Also called: homestead, property tax, DTE 105I, county auditor, unemployability, 323.152.

For: Veteran or service member, survivor.

Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The exemption is the State's, under Revised Code 323.152(A)(2); see the Ohio entry. Mail DTE 105I, with the DD-214 and the VA letter showing a 100% rating or compensation at 100% for individual unemployability, to the Warren County Auditor, 406 Justice Drive, Lebanon 45036 (513-695-1235), to arrive by December 31. What the page says. It describes the homestead programme only for those 65 or older, the permanently and totally disabled, and surviving spouses of participants, with a $41,000 income test for 2026, and links a "Disabled Veterans" form without explaining it. A disabled veteran faces no income test, and the credit is about twice the ordinary one: the tax on $59,400 of market value for 2026 real property. The local option. The county commissioners did not adopt the homestead local option of 319.304. For tax year 2026 they instead waived the county's own share of the property tax for every owner, paid for by a temporary half-cent sales tax; that applies to everyone, veteran or not.
