Where it applies

Written for the jurisdictions listed here.

The board. Brian Arnold (Chair, District 1), Aaron DeKock (District 2), Travis DeWitt (Vice-Chair, District 3), Stephanie Erickson (District 4) and Crystal McIntyre (District 5) meet on the first and third Tuesday of each month, day and night meetings, in the board room of the Warren County Administration Building, 301 N. Buxton Street, Indianola (Board office 515-961-1001). The county posts each meeting's agenda PDFs on its media library and streams the meetings on its YouTube playlist; no minutes files are posted, so the agenda items are the record. The proclamations. The November 6, 2025 day-meeting agenda: "Consider proclamation for Operation Green Light, with possible action." The October 13, 2026 work session: "Discuss Operation Green Light." The October 20, 2026 day-meeting agenda: "Consider Operation Green Light for Veterans 2026 Proclamation, with possible action." The credits and the abatement. The December 2, 2025 agenda carried the annual certifications "pursuant to Iowa Code Chapter 425 and 426.7 for Tax Year 2025 payable FY26/27: A. Homestead Tax Credit; B. 65+ Exemption Tax Credit; C. Military Exemption; D. Elderly/Disabled Tax Credit; E. The Freedom Rock. The February 3, 2026 agenda: "Consider approving funds for Warren County Freedom Rock, with possible action" (the January 27, 2026 work session had the discussion). The commission and the office. The work sessions of May 12 and June 9, 2026 discuss "Veterans Affairs Commission Applications"; the June 16, 2026 agenda "Consider appointments to the Veteran Affairs Commission"; the August 4, 2026 agenda "Consider Veteran Affairs request to backfill part-time Certified Veterans Service Officer (CVSO) position"; the October 6, 2026 agenda "Approve payroll removal: Deborah Segebart, County Veteran Service Officer, Veteran Affairs, effective 10/09/2026" and "Consider appointing Gregory Jenkins to the Veteran Affairs Commission to serve the vacancy to the Commission due to resignation. The remaining term expires 6/30/2028." The April 28, 2026 work session carried "Warren County VA exiting IACVSO Association Discussion". Beside these, the monthly "Receive and file reports: A. Veteran Affairs" stands on nearly every window agenda, and the December 2, 2025 and July 7, 2026 warrant approvals run "for ... veterans" among the funds. No benefit was adopted, narrowed or repealed; the record is the proclamations, the credit certifications and the commission's staffing.
