Union County Golf Courses Veteran Rates

The county’s two golf courses, Galloping Hill (Kenilworth) and Ash Brook (Scotch Plains), post a veterans and first responders rate - Mondays and Tuesdays with cart included, $27 with a senior Player’s Card, $42 with a Player’s Card, $57 for county residents and $67 for non-residents without a card.

Both courses' Rates & Fees pages state: "This covers our entire lineup of Players Card options, greens fees, veterans and first responders discount rates, as well as pricing for driving pull cart rental." The veterans and first responders block on each page: "VETERANS AND FIRST RESPONDERS - Mon & Tue Cart Included: Seniors with Player's Card $27.00; With Player's Card $42.00; No Player's Card, County Resident $57.00; No Player's Card, Non-County Resident $67.00." Galloping Hill's rates page carried a January 13, 2026 date-modified stamp; Ash Brook publishes the identical block. All tee times are made online. The county's first "Veterans on the Green" day of golf was held at Galloping Hill on October 1, 2025 (see the Office of Veteran's Services entry).
