The Budgets page posts only the 2023 budget and the proposed 2024 budget (filed August 15, 2023); the 2024 proposal carried a "Veteran Officer Expenses" line of $1,500, down from $2,000 budgeted for 2023 (with $122.88 and $175.00 spent in the two years before). The Commissioners Court approved the 2026 budget on September 22, 2025 and adopted the 2027 budget on September 28, 2026, both 5-0, but neither is posted, so whether the line survives is unread.
