Stoddard and Dunklin counties make up the 35th Judicial Circuit, which the Office of State Courts Administrator's veterans treatment court map shades as running a Veterans Treatment Court Program; the circuit publishes no rules or contact, so ask a defence lawyer or the Circuit Clerk in Bloomfield or Kennett.

What is published. The Office of State Courts Administrator's map of veterans treatment courts, updated January 2024, shades both counties of the 35th Judicial Circuit - Stoddard and Dunklin - as running a "Veterans Treatment Court Program". In its words: "Veterans Treatment Court focuses on addressing the substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, or mental health disorders of defendants charged with a criminal offense who are military veterans or current military personnel." Missouri treatment courts sit under Revised Statutes 478.001; see the Missouri entry. The neighbouring 36th Circuit's Southeast Missouri Veterans Treatment Court (Butler and Ripley) is shaded separately. What is not. Stoddard County has no website of its own, and nothing read names the 35th Circuit court's judge, coordinator, schedule or eligibility rules; the Commission's records of September 2025 to October 2026 carry no veterans court item. A veteran facing charges in Stoddard County should ask a defence lawyer to raise it early, or ask the Stoddard County Circuit Clerk at the courthouse in Bloomfield. Dunklin County. The map shades Dunklin in the 35th Circuit with Stoddard; this entry rests on that archived January 2024 map, since no page or order of the circuit's own that names the veterans docket was found. Dunklin's own site names no veteran docket: its Judicial System page lists the circuit and associate divisions at the Justice Center, 1175 Floyd Street, Kennett, with their criminal, civil, probate and juvenile days and no treatment docket, and the county posts no commission minutes or budget. A Dunklin County veteran facing charges should ask a defence lawyer to raise the veterans docket early, or ask the Dunklin County Circuit Clerk, Paula Gargus, at the Justice Center (573-888-2456).
